I Do's In Italy...

Message:

I was born and raised in Italy, where all of my family still lives. My fiancé and I have decided to have our big day in my home town. Due to the obvious high cost of traveling to Italy most of my finance’s family can not attend. I am wondering if having a second reception once we return home is going to be sufficient in the eyes of my future husband’s family… Any suggestions.

well, i am kind of in the same scenario. the difference with my situation is that we aren't going to have any of our family there. what we are planning on doing is a reception where everyone can attend. i will be wearing my dress and my fiance will be in his tux, i am going to have the photographer there, and we are going to hold a nice meaningful toast where everyone can say something. so his family might not be able to enjoy seeing him actually exchanging vows but if you decide to videotape it you can even do something with that in your reception. just remember that this is your day and this is what you have dreamed of since you were little. i doubt he did the same. :) good luck
